About Pragyan
Pragyan, the international techno-managerial organization of NIT Trichy provides a platform for a multitude of students to showcase their technical ingenuity and prowess. With its annual self-titled fest, Pragyan has come a long way since its inception. It basks in the limelight with the London Olympics and football club - Manchester United as one of the three organizations to have ever achieved the ISO 20121:2012 Certification for Event Sustainability Management System. Pragyan also holds the coveted honor of being the only student-run organization amongst the three. In addition, Pragyan also has the ISO 9001:2015 Certification for Quality Management System.
About Pragyan Hackathon
Pragyan conducts an outreach event every year called the Pragyan Hackathon. Over the years, Pragyan Hackathon has been conducted in various cities including Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. This year, Pragyan Hackathon will be returning to Bangalore for an exciting Hackathon in Exotel Bangalore on the 21-22 December. Last year, Pragyan Hackathon was under the patronage of Make-in-India, Digital India, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Startup India, and National e-Governance Division.
